Just so people know i'm back working on my website, i'm working on a new format so its down at the moment but it will be back up soon. I thought i'd ask what people want in the website, so far the plans are 1. Comprehensive List of all factions 2. A detailed page for each master 3. A gallery of all models in an easy to use format 4. News, Events, etc 5. A gaming venue/store/henchmen locator 6. An explanation with examples on how each ability, talent, spell works, etc. Anything else ?

Battlefront in the uk are a little "unusual" shall we say. For example, they refused to supply a local gaming store because of the word "geek" in their store name.

A group of malifaux gamers should organise themselves so theres about 20 of them preferably with lots of tattoos etc, and then descend on one build a bear store at the same time

Yeah sorry about that, work has been a bit crazy so the "bad things happen" website isnt as up to date as i'd like, i'm moving some servers around atm and plan a relaunch with up to date news etc once i finish moving the site over.

Is there going to be the opportunity to build a terrain board for puppet wars, or will it be a mainly flat board game style board that wont lend itself to modelling ?

My early batches all took way too long to dry because of lack of hardener, my latest batches are much better with 1.5 x. I find plastic mini blisters or a plastic box the best thing to use, dont whatever you do a batch in silicon bakeware like i tried (who would have thought silicon in silicon was a bad idea )

Rosemary and Co, alot of the good painters use them now. Same quality as WN7 but 1/3 the cost, the series 33 short handles is the ones to go for.

Thanks i was looking for that myself, i was sure it had been fixed to make it possible for outcasts to hire non-outcast mercs.

Give them a break guys, theres nothing hugely game breaking that the errata is going to solve, and they are working hard to get the remaining models out, which i think people will agree is more important. (especially the people who need some of them). We played the UK GT with no v2 errata and it went fine (great in fact), so its clearly not a game breaking issue. Yes, it would be nice to have, but i'd rather have a version of the errata that has been carefully checked than a rushed out one that will just lead to people running around with different versions. Ratty's reference sheet and the forum posts are more than enough to handle most situations.

Thanks for the comments i'll redo the card page shortly. Heres another example of the way i want to build up a talents index. This entry shows the mercenary characteristic entry, which links to the Comes Cheap and High Class abilities, and then back again via links in the text. http://malifaux.info/mercenary/ Once all the entries are populated a page map will act as an index allowing people to quickly find the talent they want more info on. I'm thinking of including al ot of beginners material on my website, heres a mockup of a basic page explaining the card (its not finished yet) http://malifaux.info/the-model-card/ I wanted people's opinions first, before i use up alot of time on this, to see if people think its worthwhile. Eventually the site will also include more detailed pages about everything, for example, as well as mentioning "Mercenary" on this page there will be a detailed page for the Mercenary characteristic that will include examples for models like showgirls and desperate mercs that break the normal rules.

Unless your buying your malifaux mini's from Wyrd Direct SMG are involved, they supply all malifaux mini's in the uk. The actual offer is implemented by their vendors, i.e. Maelstrom etc, SMG just supply them with a batch of miss packs and teddy's based on the volume of their order.

Theres actually a stockist in Leeds now, http://www.geek-games.com/ up at Yeadon, Malifaux is actually the main thing he sells and because of its success he's looking at larger premises that can hold a proper gaming area. He also delivers to Leeds Night Owls on the Thursday and Sundays.

Dont forget Eric normally runs random competitions to get some of the ltd edition mini's as well, not always painting competitions, the last one run on twitter the top X painters got a ltd edition gremlin and Y people who re-tweeted it got one as well (so anyone could win no matter how bad their painting). And as other people have said, Wyrd dont release mini's that are unique in game, i.e. stats since that would effect balance, they only release alternate sculpt ltd editions.
