If you can get ahold of the stuff, one of the more popular primers is Duplicolor Sandable Spray On Primer. I used to get it at Walmart but now have to buy it at Meijer if they have those where you are. Smooth as glass going on. Painting pro friend of mine tipped me onto the stuff and have never went back. I will then use a paint-on afterwards to fill in the crevasses that were missed. Oh and humidity suuccckkksss....Indiana has 2 real times to paint, Spring and Fall unless you have a paint booth.

These are dead miners, right? So it makes sense that they have a dead canary. Canaries were used to indicate toxic gases and whatnot so miners could get out alive. Obviously, this one didn't help any.

If you hadn't noticed, GW is starting to slip in more ways than one. They don't run "official" tournaments anymore, instead relying on retailers and venues to run them. And Adepticon had a bit of a falling out after last year and opened up to other games and companies this year. Privateer Press games had a huge turnout this year. Which means that's it's high time for Wyrd to jump in on this and take away some of GW's old glory. Slowly but surely, GW's iron grip on miniature gaming in the US is slipping and companies like Wyrd and Privateer Press are the reason. Oh, and the economy.

Sorry to highjack this, but it runs in line with my question. Con season is starting, and I was wondering if the Powers That Be have decided on any kind of format for official events at Gencon this year? Some of the other companies have posted schedules already, and I haven't seen anything here. Registration opens shortly.
