I would love plastic modular pieces - saves me from wanting to make them and always feeling like a slacker because I never got around to it. My main concern is that that make the rules to complex and add to many elements. I really feel they killed it off with the addition of hybrids and the like. Before that it was balanced, one lot great in close in and very fast and numerous, the other good at long range but slower and limited in numbers.

This and the darkelf queen have been let downs. Seems to be going a bit backwards quality wise.

Perhaps they simply don't play games with people as uncoordinated as my brother? Give that man a handfull of dice at your own peril.

I saw acthmen today. Thought it was good but in the end it didn't grip me. I would give it 7/10

While I wouldn't be getting one the point of the tower is you can have somewhere on your gaming table to role your dice in a confined space. Means you aren't knocking over figures and the like.

Put a surfboard under that third one and I am sold.

I don't know, that top one could be painted up as waves crashing against rocks? Not something I would buy but an ok concept.

well I think the PP players will be shit out of luck if they think they are going to see a price reduction. The physical cost of the individual figures will only be a small proportion of the end cost. When you look at labour, packaging, transport, marketing and R&D plus the company will want to make some profit as well. The initial costs of making the master for plastics is considerably higher as well and since PP doesn't sell anywhere near the quantity of figures as GW they will need to recoup that at a higher % of the price.

oops I didn't read the three votes thing Well the new Battlestar Galactica is my al time favourite - only TV show I have on DVD. SG1 would be my second choice because of the homour. I watch the occasional star trek but just find it way to earnest for me to enjoy. Oh and yeah Red Dwarf if it were on the list.

I have had 3 figures from enigma and all have been excellent quality.

when we had the old Y2K rubbish I was working for a pet supply wholesaler - One shop had a women buy 96 Huge pots of turtle food because she was convinced civilisation would end (end she wouldn't be able to feed her turtles?) 4 years later she left the country and the pet shop got given her turtles and 68 pots of food. I wonder how many of those people sitting in line for petrol leave their cars idling?

Hey there. I know I am not new but I haven't been around for a while. Had a rough patch for a while and haven't picked up a brush since last year. I did pop in a couple of times but just recently found the mind a bit more settled and starting to think about miniatures again. Hope everyone has been good (or bad depending on your individual requirements)

I saw MrBrooks the other day - Kevin Costner so wasn't expecting much and I really enjoyed it!

On some computers if you press ctrl+alt+the down arrow it flips the screen upside down. Basically have to hang upside down to be able to read anything. ctrl+alt+up arrow puts it all back to normal.

looks ok I suppose.... lol who am I kidding, I think I just got a little stiffy!

Mate that answer really makes you sound like a nob end. Do you think it would look ok if his tail was coming out of his belly or the back of his head or from one of his ears?

I like the bug and the painting seems pretty original to me. The guy falling over is just to funny.

I post on multiple boards sometimes simply because no everyone visits all sites. I had comments on my ork kommando here and at CMON which covered quite different points - all of which helped me get him finished to a level I was happy with.

It's a bummer, but somewhere in the world there a children being abused and murdered, women being raped and brutalized, families losing their entire houses or incomes. I think I will just about manage to get by.
