The guy on the horse with the book is cool. Seeing people pretty much do the same thing in their cars on the motorway is a bit scary.

I know it's been a while since Nathan asked this question but something just occurred to me. Back in the days that I played as well as painted my and some mates got into Chronopia. Now to look at the figures on their website you would think they would be best used cut up as agitators in paint pots. Once my mate had painted up his orcs we were all thinking crap those are cool figures. (talented lad that Romilly Brown)

I have to say I like the figures but only because I saw unpainted versions, these paint jobs are rubbish. I don't personally find them to busy but that's just opinion one way or other.

Well I didn't get the job I went for - they didn't hire anyone for it. They had a guy who had just finished a marketing degree but decided he didn't have the experience. They decided I had the experience but no marketing degree. :stupido: BUT I do have a new job, just have to wait till January to start which is a bit of a bummer as I imagine my current job will drag on even more now. I am becoming a recruiter and once fully trained up they want me to head a team of 3 more who will work under me. The best thing is they actually believe in work-life balance so more time at home (and more time for painting)

I like that one. The pose is quiet dynamic.

I like the concept art more than the figure. I dont think the sculpt captured the roundness of the art.

In general I have no issues with plastic and have argued many times that with technical advances there is no reason that a plastic figure shouldn't have all the detail of metal (as long as it is made in enough bits). BUT this stuff from Rackham IS awful. Looks like they are using old technologies in the production and they really have produced some poo.

I am really liking the new race. But I am the same as gi6ers in that I won't be buying them. I have to much other stuff to paint.
