  1. No, it was my fault, I didn't notice my photo was 1024 wide instead of 800. You can delete this thread if you want Nathan. Just take time to answer my last PMs ,) I lost a lot of time because of my own mistake but now I cooled down.
  2. I compressed it up to 255 ko and I still get an error message : Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3200 bytes) in /home/wyrd/public_html/photopost/image-inc.php on line 135
  3. Thanks guys but my previous IP entries were between 700 ko and 800 ko and I got no problem at all to upload them. As my photos are crappy, I will lose a lot on compression....at least I will be freed definitely from IP
  4. I spent a lot of time taking photos and now I can't upload them in the Dirty Laundry gallery. My photo was 1.7 Mo and now it is less than 800 Ko and I still can't upload it : I get this message error : Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3200 bytes) in /home/wyrd/public_html/photopost/image-inc.php on line 135 If I can't post it in the gallery I will post it on the forum....I am really upset so please try to fix this f..... mess !!!!
  5. Great, I'll get one starter for free if you lose IP
  6. 1. I usually prefer one large comprehensive book but if it's more than 200 or 300 pages you'd better go for a number of smaller ones? 2. From beginner projects through to advanced : it would be the introduction, also describing tools and materials used most of the time. By subject, with each subject covering a variety of methods : that's a good idea : project with a type of materials and what you can do with these materials. You could also have it by period from antique to modern and Sci-Fi buildings or sceneries. Nowadays we find many books (both paper and online ones) about miniatures and how to paint them but almost nothing about terrains and sceneries (at least in a paper edition as some websites have good tutorials).
  7. I will be there with you but "in mind" only.....it's a bit far for me.
  8. SuperVike.....SuperBike.....SuperMike....SuperDike....SuperPike....SuperTike....how do you spell it ????? Happy birthday mate and welcome to the forties (it's the best decade!!!) Happy birthday to my IP5 opponent too, Hinton.
  9. It's amazing, I really like the details. Excellent.
  10. Good idea. Thanks to all for the nice comments.
  11. Yep, near a ruined chuch and a graveyard may be...
  12. I get the image now. I'll PM you later with my comments.
  13. Stan, can you send me a photo of her to my email address so I could have a better look. Thanks
  14. For me it's a rodent...anybody with an elephant ??? :elefant:
  15. True it's the same for me. And when you don't enter contests and only paint miniatures for wargames you don't improve your skills so much and you don't really care.
  16. Here is my very first miniature painted in 1987 I think. I painted it with Humbrol enamel paint and it was not even undercoated.....At this time I didn't know what a wash or a drybrush were. Glazes ???? What a strange word. Have fun and be prepared for a heart attack :
  17. You're welcome Nathan it was a pleasure to do it.
