  1. Why waste his skill on such arse-biscuit concepts? Hackneyed fantasy drivel.
  2. I like these. The shoulder pads are ridiculous, but they suit the miniatures in this case. Bet they're rock hard in-game too....
  3. Like the faces and details, but not the pose of most of them. He's got some really nice stuff in his shop. I'm gonna get me some sooner or later.
  4. I don't like the way it clutters every nice flat surface including the weapon blades. If I want designs there, I'll put them there. I'm still tempted to put a walloping great big order in to Starplayer. They knock out some beautiful minis. They just need a bit of filing
  5. So about what Kev charges for a sculpt then Awesome. I'll have one of those.
  6. The last one I went to was horrendous. The mini displays were down on the bottom level in a really enclosed space. By lunchtime the smell was absolutely aweful. It was stupidly busy as well. Horrible. Didn't go to the one at the NEC last year. Hope it's a better venue, I might venture down this year as it's near to my parents' house.
  7. It has nothing to do with ego stroking. From the pics that get posted of the entries in all the GD competitions globally, generally speaking it's a fact! What happened over at Creafigs was aimed directly at you Eric, not your country. If I had to name the best GD entering painters at the moment, my list would include Allan C, Kiril Kanaev, J A Gillois, Monsieur Bonamant (much as it galls me...) and yes, probably Ms Melnik. The evidence is pretty irrefutable. Multiple Demons from a range of competitions against the best there is. Nobody's said that the painting in the US is inferior, just the level of competition at some of the GD's. Honestly, it's some of you Yanks who have made a big song and dance about it and are spitting all the fire and brimstone stuff. The best GD comp around at the moment judging from the pics I see is the French one. It leaves UKGD for dead too I reckon.
  8. The evidence speaks for itself. How many forums have you spammed with this post KUF???
  9. Pretty nice. 3 is definitely the best one, but they are all better than the GW ones. He needs to do lots of modern/sci-fi zombies....
  10. SOLD!! I like a slightly larger scale.... :thumb:
  11. Is she bigger than Spyglass stuff Steve? She's very lovely and looks as though she's a nice one to paint.
  12. However good or bad their sculpts are, they're always completely unique, and that is worth a mint where miniatures are concerned I reckon. This chap would paint up ok I think. The quiver is daft, but that's the only major gripe I have with him. I'd just leave it off and give him an axe or something...
  13. A proper trophy - especially if they cast them up in pewter and polish them. Way better than a tatty lump of drybrushed resin. :AR15firin
  14. Very nice. My only gripe is the weapons. The bolt pistol lookalikes are all different. Wish he'd just use a master for them so they all look the same.
  15. They suck. I don't even like the tags on the bottom any more. They get cut off straight away and replaced with pins.
  16. The red chaps would look much better with the stupid spikes on their backs hacked off.
  17. I like classic minis, but these evoke memories of everything that is bad about 'classic' 70's and 80's figs. Poo.
