    Hey! Yes, I've had a very nice day! It may be brisk and cold, but it is not raining! I went to circuit city and bought a wireless printer, pretty cheap.. I have been anxious for a new printer because I am tired of fiddling the cord between mine and my hubbys computer, and the printer hums incessently to boot. So, yay! Otherwise the day has been low key. The mini I should be painting has been glaring at me. Thanks for all the birthday wishes, you guys rock! /ali

    Yah, if my husband buys alot of new minis for himself, I don't get upset if he buys some for me, too.. .... Well, actually, I don't really get mad if he buys alot of new minis for himself and not me, because I figure I can always snag them later when he's forgotten their his and claim them as my own.. >: )

    I was feeling positive about the posibility that the minis might be more prompt because Paizo was involved, but then I remembered how long some of the Ptolus miniatures were delayed, and also that the first release of the Pathfinder miniatures were originally due in February and we still haven't gotten a picture of the goblin warriors *grumble*.... I will be happy if I can get some of them at GenCon, though.. =) Since I am not expecting timely releases, at least I won't be disappointed! /ali

    I like the demony tree thingy and the water elemental.. I think I may order them! I sent an email this morning about shipping and got a fairly quick response that he would check shipping at the post office and let me know tomorrow.. =) /ali

    *sigh* I used to love white-chocolate fat-free, sugar-free pudding until I cut aspartame out of my diet and discovered Jello uses aspartame.. 1. 94% fat free kettle corn 2. frozen blueberries with some fat free cool whip on top 3. Steamed milk with sugar-free peanut butter, pepperment, or white chocolate syrup If I'm desperate or in a hurry, a just-barely-ripened banana (I can't stand fully ripened bananas!) - it's hard to get them at just the right texture/flavor. /ali

    Interesting article. I downloaded Picasa to fiddle with it. The only thing I like is the adjust color temperature with the historgram open - seems to be a good way to balance the colors properly. But I couldn't figure out a way to resize the pictures... I do like it as a photo managing program though

    I don't really like the crab-claw hand thing for the daemonettes, but otherwise I think they are rather fun.

    Woohoo! I did have a very nice birthday, but sadly did not get any minis! I was going to buy the new GW High Elf Dragon with my birthday money, but it was not available at our FLGS on Saturday! I bought new dice instead (my husband gave me dice for my wood elves for christmas, but they roll nothing but ones and twos, I swear!). I went to a pirate-themed put-put golfing place in the evening with some friends, which was really fun and goofy =) Thanks for all the birthday wishes!! /ali

    Hmm.. those look like some of the forces my husband was actually painting, so I'm not sure I'd be able to give them away.. I will have to take a look this weekend /ali

    They also refused the original series premier and rushed them through "Train Job" which was aired as the introduction to the series. I think it was too abrupt an introduction for most audiences, and didn't make the characters near as likeable as they become. They also played some other episodes out of order, and on several occasions preemted the show for sports or old movies instead. *boggle* The irregular schedule didn't help things a bit. It was doomed from the beginning. ;( /ali

    If I watched TV, I would watch this series just to see Summer Glau and sigh over the fate of Firefly. I will probably rent it when it comes out on DVD, though. /ali

    I'd have to drag out the box and look through it to determine what we have. I think there's a fair bit out of their blisters scattered around with our other modern gaming stuff, so pictures of anything specific would be good. I would like a couple of warhounds of chaos (1 headed, not two), a couple of deamonettes (the current edition ones). There's probably something I've not thought of.. Or money, I suppose!

    Hi all - I'm trying to build a unit of eternal guard for my wood elf army out of maidenguard, and I almost have enough, but I need 2 or 3 more to round out my force. Does anyone have any they're willing to part with? I don't need a musician (in fact, I have a spare I'd be willing to trade away) or the commander, or Alarielle herself. Just some of the guard chicks. Can do trades or cash, just let me know what you'd want! /ali
