This is a cool-looking model, and you do a nice job distinguishing between the metal of the gun and the "mount". I think a bit more contrast on the metal surfaces would help it read a bit more metal - as is, it's kinda mid-tone-y.

I agree with the previous comment. A bit higher on the highlights for the metal would help it read more as metal and separate it from the smoke, for example. 

Love the basing, maybe try warning up the skin tone. The character looks kinda dead

I know this is a 'Metal' competition, but let me take a moment and compliment you on the rocks here. I love that they aren't just brown or grey, but a solid red. I just got done vacationing in Colorado, went to Manitou and the Garden of the Gods, and your rocks remind me of those so much. They look so realistic.
