KingJocko
Well my friends and I have started going full steam on making some terrain to play on. Most of them don't care for the tedious painting of terrain so most of it will pass by me for final touches, so I figured I'd make a little catalog of things I'm working on to get some feedback from you guys. So without further ado here's the first piece. This bridge and stairs is mostly made from foam core and stock card with the wood being basswood from the crafts store. It's pretty straight forward and I wanted it to be modular so I kept the stairs separate from the bridge. However to keep the stairs from moving around as we play on it I put magnets inside them and the bridge piece so that they stick together at the various joints. I also plan on adding additional pieces to this set with my other magnets in the future (Ladders, towers, varied bridge paths, etc.) which the initial modular design helps facilitate. Here's a few more pics from different angles with some models on it for scale. The next thing I'm working on is smaller so it wont be long until it's finished. Hope you enjoyed it.

KingJocko
Here we've got two sets of crates, boxes, and what not piled together to make some generic clutter.

JBugman
Excellent technique, sir. Am I correct in assuming you've left enough room up top the bridge for the larger bases and left out the riser on each stair so you can keep the stairs reasonably narrow and still fit models? Keep up the good work!
