  1. You could always add in the emissary. between Emmissarry, Nix, rats, Hamelin, stolen, ratcatchers, and rat kings there are a lot of models to spread blight. Rats can be very effective as the opponents don't like to cheat fate against 0/0/1 damage. Merely having 2-3 rats on a single person can add up since they add +1/+2/+3 Blight on their damage, helped out by their ability to increase their final flip total.
  2. Have you ever tried to play the blight game? You can do stupid amounts of damage over the course of a game with it. By turn 2-3 I can have 1-3 models stacked up with blight enough to make even the stolen a bit dangerous. By turn 4-5 I can usually blow any model up with 1-2 attacks. This is all without dedicated all my resources to stacking and exploiting the blight condition.
  3. one question I have is how many rotten belles should I have on hand? would Seamus' box + doxies be enough for summons?
  4. I will take all the suggestions that I can get! some of these models I will get eventually as my outcasts can take many of them (Leveticus and the 4 horsemen sounds fun). I just want to prioritize my purchases and see my options. I think between the models I already have and the models people suggest, I should be mostly good to go with seamus.
  5. I will take a listen to the podcast! I mostly go for what models I like the look of. I hadn't even noticed the emissary can summon zombies! I have a lot to learn here are the models on my list due to what I think looks cool: Drowned, Emissary, Dead Rider, Jakuuna, Harydin What are the thoughts on these models, particularly with seamus? My secondary master is gonna be Tara and I think I will have a bit of fun by making a nearly all buried list!
  6. So due to my outcasts, I have a series of resser models and figured its time to branch out. I have picked seamus for this but don't know what to add to his box other than a nurse (people seem quite keen on that). I am considering the emissary and will grab doxies, but is there anything else? do drowned work well with him?? How about jakuna? I am very new to this faction and its playstyle so any suggestions and tips are welcome
  7. I love this as I am considering getting into ressers a little bit. Thanks for the write up!
  8. So I bought them anyways as I love the models and am a compulsive spender O.o I also picked up a couple others just because I know they are good but will have to play around with jack and his core crew to get the feel for him before I try to complicate my lists by adding other faction models.
  9. So I was recently given a this box set as a gift. How are drowned with jack? I do not play rezzers to having someone giving me access to them makes me feel weird as I generally do not like taking merc-type models
  10. Oh I like that! But yeah I will pass on graves. I am not a fan of his neverborn additions honestly.
  11. I will definitely be acquiring Queeg. I prefer to play "balanced" lists and by that I mean some ranged support, midliners (disruption mostly), and a frontliner or two. Here is my Goal: 2x Rifleman Ranged Fire Support Dashal midline disruption, summoning Executioner frontline aggressor Queeq midline support Terracotta back/mid support Wardens mid/front agressors Hounds Scheme runners/ harrassers any suggestions or additions to the pool?
  12. So gunline is not necessarily what I am aiming for (hehe punny) but more just the guardsman theme. I will likely run two riflemen, Dashal, Executioner (just love the model), and I don't know what I want from there. Likely going to try the wardens and guild hounds to see how I like them. I really just wanna get a feel for how the thematic models play as well. Seems they like a loose bubble tactic, keeping close-ish to each other
  13. I will agree with aesthetics. Maybe find someone you like the look of then read their story in the books. That is how fell in love with Hamelin and Colodi. Some box sets are easier for newer players to learn, but as long as you really enjoy what you are trying to learn then it shouldn't be an issue.
  14. Hey everyone! I have a query. I am looking to go with Lucius as my first guild master and love the idea of the "guardsmen" thematic. What models Are the top pics for him and their functions? Any really good combos? I am probably going to bring a single terracotta with him after reading about their interactions. Is the gun line still a thing?
  15. Also the roughest games I have are vs Titania as the mechanic are in opposition with each other and she comes out slightly ahead there. I have basically resolved not to play parker if my opponent declares neverborn (my Hamlin fills the gap).
