Got eliminated in Round one of the Iron Painter. Not horribly suprised, but felt pretty good that it was a mere 3 pt difference between JayGriffiths and I. Especially since he's an amazing miniatures blogger. Congrats and good luck in round two Jay!!,

@LordZombie, thank you. Someday I'll get some semblance of a real camera, but I'm pretty technologically impaired. I was just stoked I didn't need to ask my children how to post the picture. @easily_mused, thanks, solid wash, then a couple drybrushes. @Victoria, thank you! I'm trying. Finally decided to get into my 10T, and semiretire my Guild crew. Findin time to paint in my household can be tough, but I really want to have a good looking crew for Gencon. Next up, old outcast Misaki will be getting paint while we wait for round one results and round two. Let's see if I can use the eye painting technique provided to me by JayGriffiths. You've gotta love being in a competition where you and you opponent can swap technique, critique, and advice. -

My Goal with this was to get my 10T models ready for my trip to Gencon this year. I don't have access to photography gear, so unfortunately it's just taken with my iPad. Thanks for looking.

Come join Sitting Ducky and Dunni for M2e action! Join us for a Hobby day at Hypno comics! We will have paint stations set up for your mini needs. Out community has many talented artists to seek advice from. They're friendly and love helping out. We also provide piles of supplies as well. Gaming? 30 SS game boards set up to go. Need a demo to shake off the M2e dust? We'll have those too! Help build a local community for the game. Come hang out and meet some good people and hopefully make some new friends.
