  1. Here's what I saw at the Cake Tourney (Forgive me if I'm wrong, man who has many Flesh Constructs) 35 Nicodem Sebastian Rafkin 10 dogs Rafkin Preserves Bodies Sebastian Bloody harvests (4dg in 3" pulse) to kill all the dogs Nicodem Arises (Rafkin's at 10 BP now), Reanimates a Rogue Necro (Spend a stone maybe, now Rafkin's at 14 BP and you have 4 more cards), Reanimates a Flesh Construct (16 BP, 2 more cards), and Casting Expert to Reanimate another flesh construct (18 BP, 2 more cards) 1 Rogue Necro 2 Flesh Constructs 2nd turn: Rafkin dumps 9 Mindless Zombies on the field Nicodem, having saved his spare crows freom the 8 extra cards he drew, Reanimates 3 more Flesh Constructs. Boom. Rogue Necromancy with 5 Flesh Constructs. Now you're probably at 0 stones.
  2. I always assumed the new resummoned Toshiro was a "new" Toshiro - Same reasoning Izamu can get 2 activations in the same turn. So I would vote no, and have been playing it as such (Although, I'd love to know if I don't need the reset)
  3. I'm not sure if it's entirely unrelated though; Healing on Riposte is the tipping level for him. If he can heal when you attack him, he can become virtually invincible. You should be able to throw half your crew at him (Think 5 Canine Remains), and not need to worry about him ending up better than he started before the attacks.
  4. It's also why, as a Rezzer, you always hover between 2" and 3" with the Dead Rider and Izamu. They (The opponent) now have to spend 2 AP to get a hit on you (They can still Charge, keep in mind). It's what makes the 3" melee such a hammer in Malifaux.
  5. I may get banned for saying this, but Nikki Minaj comes to mind with your first Ophelia. But nice paint jobs, especially her bright lips, although I'd really lean on using the black outfit, as it seems a bit more Wild West
  6. Tokaji beat me to it, but allow me to redirect you to http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread...mu-so-powerful
  7. I'm sorry, but I can't take "I killed it with Collodi and Avatar Zoraida" as a viable argument to indicate a model's power level. When you're getting upwards of 20 AP from 1 activation, where 80% of those can be paired attacks, you're going to kill whatever you focus. And I am of the personal opinion, while some others rightfully disagree with me, that Izamu is one of few Rezzer models who can maintain entire self-sufficiency. Many, many of our models are poor on their own (Belles, Canines, Punks), and gain tons of efficiency as their support level rises, while Izamu's "curve" of support-power is much, much less inclined (Disregarding masters). Often times, I run a 25SS list with Nico, Dead Rider, and Izamu, as the entirety of that minion pool is the pinnacle of Rezzer self-sufficiency. (My apologies if I seem bitter or biased towards Collodi. I try, as this forum post would indicate, to refrain from labeling models overpowered or underpowered, but I cannot rationalize Collodi's balance in my own head. That's the last I will say on him; This is an Izamu thread, and I want to keep it that way I just can't understand Collodi's power level being where it is at the moment)
  8. It's advertised as his base being 70mm (About 2.8 inches), so I think that tape is measuring in centimeters. So he's at about 2.8 inches tall I think he can fit on a 50mm with some clever basing. Easier than a Steamborg. ---------- Post added at 03:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:46 PM ---------- About 4.3 inches to the top of his flag.
  9. I simply cannot wait to see what you do with Izamu, Mako
  10. Assassination - Masters & Henchmen Grudge/Kill Protegee - Minions The best part is having Grudge and Kill Prot on the same Executioner.
  11. That's true, but this is a combination that makes every model in the crew, even a potential Canine, a devastating machine worth easily double its stones. Those other "OP" combination focus very heavily on very specific models.
  12. I would avoid getting Pandora, because people will avoid playing you. She's not a fun play experience at all, from what I've heard. Most of the Neverborn aren't particularly fun to play against, so consider going the TT route?
  13. You know, an interesting proxy could be a set of urns. I'd love the idea of possessed urns engulfing Kirai, only to be depleted (Sacrificed) to create the greater ethereal beings.
  14. Get some corkboard, paint it pure black, highlight in dark grey, then in light grey. Boom. You just created a beautiful stone base. Get some mossy basing material, apply sporadically, maybe get some ivy. Think about an Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider ordeal This was a stone altar I made for Yan Lo in place of his skeleton, demonstrating that exact technique, just with a light purple overtop. Edit: Well, no moss. My bad.
  15. Actually, Object is the only thing that Levi doesn't get around. Spirits halve Dg, Armor reduces Dg, but Object negates Wds. Absolutely nothing can surpass Object unless it specifically states it does, such as Willie's weapon description. And my god, does an Armored Spirit Rock take some weird math to hurt O.O ---------- Post added at 02:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:47 PM ---------- In relation the the above few posts, did he reduce the Poison to 1 Wd from Object? Poison 4 would be the only thing that'd kill him there. Then he'd probably throw a fwe attacks on the RN, get Sever, and heal back up to about 5-6 Wds.
