  1. Not to mention people like me who almost never vocalize anything because I just look for answers to my questions on the boards because I know that I am not the first to have asked a question...
  2. That is in fact the situation I was looking for an answer for. Well, seems I have nobody to play with anymore, as I have no crew that can deal with that and my friends are more interested in tourny prep than casual play. Bugger.
  3. Scenario: I have a model surrounded by 3 Alps. Do I take a single Terror Check to activate or 3 terror checks?
  4. That is a great set to paint. You did a good job on the OSL. Its a very hard effect to pull off. Had trouble with it myself. The factory pics helped me alot with doing the OSL. Really like the basing as well, especially on Pere.
  5. Kade creeps me out. He reminds me of the kid from Stephen King's Pet Semetary...
  6. In case you're interested, WorldWorksGames.com has a train/rail system thats very reasonable and reproducable. Don't know if you are aware of their products, but they are very cool.
  7. Well, I finally succumbed to the Warmachine bug. I've had models lying around for a while, but never got around to doing anything with them. After getting the starter set, I decided to start working on my small Cryx collection. Ive just finished the Denegra starter box. It has a very simple color scheme, but I think it works, and is very reproduce-able. With out any ado.. Denegra Slayer Defiler Deathripper 1 Deathripper 2 and the Group as a whole I'm hoping to try these out soon, and have more to work on, but it's a good start.
  8. Also, you could see if your local could order it for you. Perhaps they will ship faster to a retailer.
  9. Wow, just wow... Pencils to make crystals... Now I know how to make all those Necron crytals I've been planning. The crew looks amazing on the board. Did you get any award for painting? Should have at least placed IMO.
  10. Very nice collection. Personally I love the Alt. To be honest I didn't even notice the "sheer" quality of the dress til it was pointed out. Very subtle in my opinion. The cape was spot on. Would love to see more.
  11. These are just excellent models. I hope they bring a good price. Wish I could get quality like that on my models.
  12. The terrain is great, the only problem I have with the table is the actual surface doesn't match the basing on the terrain. Looks like a great layout, just doesn't look natural with the gray against the brown.
  13. That's an interesting twist. I'd have to pick up the effigy, merc, handler and watcher, but I can see how it could work out. I've been wanting an austringer as well, and what does the watcher offer that another witchling wouldn't?
  14. Thinking about running a Criid list against two of my friends who have Neverborn. Just a little notion. Wanted to see what the learned players have to offer since I've only had a couple games in thus far. Guild Crew - 35 - Scrap Sonnia Criid -- 6 Pool Nino Ortega [7ss] Papa Loco [6ss] Samael Hopkins [8ss] Witchling Stalker [4ss] Witchling Stalker [4ss] Witchling Stalker [4ss] I've used the Witchlings with my Justice crew and they were ok, but I know Sonnia makes them a bit better. Nino I've heard is awesome, and Papa Loco just seems fun. Have never used Sonnia and Samael so not sure how this would work.
  15. I love that model... Anyway, I used to have a problem with eyes as well, but now I use a 4" magnifying lamp to paint with and that makes doing eyes MUCH easier. Relatively cheap and just takes a little while to get used to. Then I put on some off-white color Ive got mixed up from 50/50 Bleached Bone and Skull White, and a brush that Ive trimmed down a bit for a finer point to apply the color. I usually use black, but sometimes blue or brown. Ive also started using an armor wash on the eyesockets which darkens the surrounding recesses and takes some of the white out. Armor wash is a light mix of brown and black watered down very thin.
