  1. I had the same problem with the JackDaw. When pushing it into the base slot I felt it bend at that tiny foot to base connection and could see that it wouldn't take much to completely snap it off. I then decided to snap it before attempting anymore painting beyond a base coat and secured it by pinning through the long extended foot and the horizontal base tab. Then reinforcing with superglue. The sculpter deserves a pad on the back for a fantastic model and also a smack on the back of the head for that idioticly weak join.
  2. Guilty, she is an intriguing model. I like the combination of the dress and armour along with the long lawyer's wig or hair. She'd make a nice alternative Judge.
  3. Looks good. That is a really nice pink tone. Spotlight shops are getting hard to find over here in the east they keep closing down. Actually I first thought your roses were cake decorations.
  4. Thanks for the BR. It was very exciting and vividly cinematic particularly the re-creation of a rotten belle. Like the name Mulestop it has a lot of character.
  5. Nice work he looks suitably swampy and menacing. Great basing which really compliments the figure. Make sure you get some of that Devlan mud on the teeth they seem a little too white.
  6. That is a very interesting concept. Looks good so far. I thought of origami too. It would make an appropriate totem for a Ronin master.
  7. The Malifaux reference sheets at http://tabletopgeeks.com/malifaux-downloads/ could be helpful but the rulebook is indespensible for the game.
  8. I don't know about the game but they keep putting out incredible new figures fairly regularly like Malifaux. Kain Finger (a very large batman ?) http://www.smartmaxstore.com/content/product_1731379b.jpg and Fu Manchu. Unfortunately it wouldn't be a cheap game judging by the cost of the resin figures so I'd be hoping for a board or boxed game with plastic figures. Maybe rescaled to 28-30mm rather than 54mm. http://www.smartmaxforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=85 The is a bit of a discussion about the possibility of what type of game it could turn into in their forum & they mention Malifaux "Regarding no dice systems, the only one I have used at the moment is that from Malifaux: you only need a poker cards deck. And I personaly find it wonderful, because you can store some cards in your hands and "cheating" some "rolls" changing the card you got from the deck for another better one from your hand (but be careful, your adversary can do the same)."-caronte

Welcome Pariah, Have a look in the Malifaux Matters forum for info on the various factions. Also the battle reports give a good flavour of the way the operate too. Just remember you can never have too much wyrd.
  10. Hi Chaosobscuros welcome. Neat name.
  11. Hi Chazza, Welcome to the weirdness. Mathematics will come in handy working out probabilities. As LDP says try Adam from Acid Gaming for fast friendly service. TinSoldier at 488 High Street, Penrith should also have some Wryd but if they are like the city shop becareful of getting older figures in blisters without their cards.
  12. Hi Adam, Thanks again for the quick delivery of the Perdita Crew box from your acid_gaming shop (I never know whether to say shop or store these days). A warm welcome to SwordOfJustice too.
  13. A good looking crew set, very cohesive. Standout work on the matching all the bases. Great work looking forward to seeing an update.
  14. GW has a lot of skull transfers. I wonder if any are small enough to fit. I'd stick one on the back of the lollypop rather than the front. Nicely painted for such a small figure. Those crazy eyes are really unsettling. I can just see her leaving a trail destruction behind as she innocently wanders along.
  15. The head & torso remind me of some graphic novel stylings, the harshness compliments the figure's steamborginess. It would be interesting to see a whole crew done that way, giving them a distinct character.
