Ryoken Posted January 12, 2014 Report Share Posted January 12, 2014 In most cases I hold it, but a lot of my armies have Arcane Res or Rush of Magic, so that offsets the penalties of holding it, at least slightly. It might be a low chance to draw, but I have had turns that cycle the deck and sometimes cycle a second time due to a large amount of duels. The chance for a Black Joker to pop twice is not something I like to risk. On a side note, I watch my opponents cards in his hand. If I notice that he is holding one until end of turn, not cheating and not discarding, I will do everything in my power to force him to discard that card, more so than normal, especially if it is early game. If I have no Kill or Discard effects on my side of the table, I can at least proceed knowing that odds are he is holding the Joker and I can be prepared for it not showing on his side of the table.
