mcmourning san
I was curious if anyone can explain how and why this combo works, I'm most interested in trying to understand why doppleganger after mimicking link in the first turn why it doesn't go away every turn? Space Donkey
The reason Link doesn't end at the end phase is that it specifies when it ends. The way the combo works is that the Doppelganger copies Link on turn 1 and links to Pandy. Turn 2 she copies Unhealthy Relationship and Emotional Trauma. Unhealthy Relationship lets any of the other Woes in base contact with the Doppelganger use Mimic to copy Emotional Trauma, and then when it's Pandy's turn she pulls around her own personal army of wound multipliers. Therril_83
Expanding on why Link doesn't go away: The doppleganger looses the ability Link after the closing phase first turn (unless she mimics it again). But the effect of Link has a stated end time (when they are not in base contact at the end of the turn), so while doppleganger loses the ability, the effect stays on. HalcyonSeraph
In other words, the ability to Link DOES go away. But the Link she already used is still going on.
