bobby neill
Rasputina is a casting expert, does that allow her to cast Biting Chill (0) spell twice? Do her Ice Pillars leave the game after being cast, or do they stay for the rest of the encounter?
DeusInnomen
You can only ever use any single (0) Action once, even if it's a spell and even if you gain an extra (0) Action through abilities like Instinctual. The Ice Pillars are continuous because they're considered terrain, so yes, they stick around. Additionally, if they're destroyed, they become difficult terrain instead. rannos
Casting expert just allows her to cast an extra 1 action spell. Keep in mind that Biting Chill automatically gets Overpower, so as long as you have the cards and want it to go, you can keep casting it at the original target. The Ice Pillars creates new terrain that lasts for the rest of the encounter.
dgraz
Casting Expert allows a (+1) Cast AP.....a (0) is not a (+1) - so that's a big no to your question. The Ice Pillars stay forever....and if they are broken (since they are Breakable Terrain) they stay as a 50mm round bit of difficult ground. Edit: Ninja'd. Boshea
Pillars last until the end of the encounter or until they are destroyed since they create terrain. Rasputina can only cast Biting Chill once (not including overpower) since it is a 0 action. Casting Expert just giver her an extra Ap for the purpose of casting spells. It would let her walk twice and cast Ice Pillars for example. Edit-double Ninja'd
