The league will run for five weeks total, with the first week starting on Jan. 12th and the last week on Feb. 9th. League rules: - Two scoring games per week. Every game after the first two is worth a maximum 1vp. You may not play the same person twice in a row for the scoring games. - No faction or scheme restrictions. - There will be a weekly challenge available each week. The challenges are optional, and each may only be attempted once per week on a scoring game. Completing a challenge will earn an extra 3vp for the week. - The current scores, as well as the strategies/challenges for the coming week, will be annonced here at the end of each week (friday night). - Scores should be submitted here whenever possible, although in-person and facebook are acceptable alternatives. Scores must also be submitted before the start of the new week. - League and open gaming can be found at Top Cut Comics (5600 N. Second St., Loves Park IL, 61111) every Saturday of the league except the 26th. - The winner will receive a small box or blister of their choice (sorry, no avatars or starter boxes). - Optional $5 buy-in for additional prize support. This will be handled by Top Cut Comics, payout will be in the form of gift cards. Feel free to reply or send a PM if you have any questions or need clarifications. Matt vs. Tyler Lilith thought about distracting Kirai, but ended up failing. Kirai kept strong pressure through the whole game, with just enough seishen to make the push. Matt (8) Tyler (0) MVP goes to Datsu Ba for a late game murder fest. Matt vs. Jason Jacob Lynch made a quick pack with the hungering darkness, but not enough power was transfered as Yan Lo pushed Izamu straight into the thick off things. Matt (8) Jason (0) MVP goes to Chakrai. . . removing brilliance. 16 so far, still need to try and pick up 2 more 1 point games. Decided that the two armies I brought were quite SS reliant so I did not attempt the challenge this week. The challenge can only be taken in the real league games right, not the pick up ones? The coming weeks should be pretty interesting.
