So I got my first game in with Ashigaru, and they're good fun for the most part.
My question though is regarding the "wall of steel" ability of theirs. Specifically it says "when a model outside of 3" moves inside of 3"" the attack goes off.
Where I get confused is, is that 3" checked for at the exact moment of the move? at the start of the move? when exactly...
How this came up:
Seamus began his activation 2.5 inches away (so outside melee range), but around a corner and another model. He goes around the other model (thus going outside 3") and then loops back inside the 3" range, all inside the same move action. Do I get to try and stop him at 3? Or does his starting the move inside my radius let him come right through.
