Ben Steele
It's gotta be a cheese topped baguette, filled with ham and hard cheddar cheese, as much salad as you can squeeze in along with a few Jalapeno's to spice it up. Or maybe a Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Bagel Or maybe even the humble Bacon Buttie (with a few mushrooms and maybe a fried egg)
Ensis Ferrae
I just did this delicious confection up for breakfast this morning: Publix brand "butter crust" bread Boar's head Tavern Ham 2 eggs, scrambled Colby Jack cheese on both sides (to help hold the ham to bread on one side, and egg to bread on the other)

Victoria
Toasted wheat bread, with miracle whip and slices of tomato that I have grown in my garden is the best sandwich ever. Simple and divine. Followed by the Reuben. (I live in the place the sandwich was invented, GO ME!) AtomicKeen
Yeah this thread is totally dead, but hey... When its hot outside: Peanut Butter, Cheddar and Avocado on Potato Bread! OR Hummus, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Pepper, Roast Chicken, and Pine Nuts on wheat. Both made at my house. And if I'm going to drop some cash on the finest sandwiches known to man: Roast beef, corned beef, genoa salami and capicola with provolone, lettuce, tomato on Plain/Multigrain depending on what's most recently baked, finish with oil, mustard, blue cheese. DiBella's Subs. Rochester, NY.

Lewkas
Hmm for a hot sandwich it will be ham, cheese and tomato toasted. My other favourite would be peanut butter and jelly or peanut butter and strawberry jam as its known over here in Oz
