.wneivf
I should be running a Malifaux tournament at the Autumn Beer and Pretzels Event on the 3rd of November. Entry Should be free as the parent event has an entry fee of £5 , if we ask you for an entry fee it should be minimal but we shouldn't. The Prize for winning event will go up with the amount of people who enter and it will be store credit at spirit games (should be enough to buy a blister or something). The Format of the Tournament Will be - 35 Soul Stones - 3 or 4 rounds of Swiss Pairings (depending on number of entries) The event will be held at Burton town hall , the postcode of the place is DE14 2EB for those wanting to use Sat Navs or Google maps and 5 minutes walk from the Train Station. As the event name says there will be plenty of beer sold at a reasonable price. If you want any more details on the event feel free to contact me through a Personal Message or Phil from Spirit Games at salnphil@spiritgames.co.uk or you can visit the spirit games website at http://www.spiritgames.co.uk/ The planning for this event is relatively still in the early stages , if you plan to attend or are interested in this please post in the thread so I will have a rough idea on how many game tables we are going to need , thanks - Jarvis Edited August 25, 2012 by .wneivf

Clousseau
Yes, I'll be at the GT as well. But good luck with the event. I'll add the event to the calendar.

Shame about the GT being on the same day but I guess it will be a good opportunity for the not as experienced people in my local area to have a small friendly tournament I guess. Spirit Games
We have to book the Town Hall over a year in advance for Beer & Pretzels so we just have to take clashes that crop up as they come. But as has been pointed out, B&P is especially suitable for new and casual players, it's a very relaxed event. There are bound to be people available for a game on the Sunday too; there will be lots of other games to get tempted by too, few people play the same game all day, but it is always worth having a crew about your person. For forward planning, 2013 Beer & Pretzels Spring dates are 18/19th May and for 2014, 17/18th. 2013 and 2014 Autumn dates are still be be confirmed. Clousseau
Fair point - these things happen and no citicism was intended. I've added the dates above to the UK events calendar.
