So i think i am an idiot. somewhere i got the impression that when measuring distance for range you subtracted the elevation the model was on (i.e.convict gunslinger shoots at samael who is on top of a 3 inch building reducing his range from 10 inches down to 7 inches) from the total range of the weapon/spell. i just downloaded the faq and it clear shows that was wrong, so i searched the rm and could not find anything like what i explained- so here is my question 1 you just measure base to base for range irregardless of height. and 2 was the subtracting of elevated height ever a part of malifaux?
