tat2dbowler Posted May 20, 2012 Report Share Posted May 20, 2012 Recently we had a few starter army boxes donated to our LGS and our goal is to give them back to the community and get new players into Malifaux. There is no entry fee for this tournament, each round you will be randomly assigned a starter box to play. Feel free to bring your own for Round 1 then its going into the random pool, otherwise models and cards can be provided. The tournament will be in the following format: Round 1: Shared Destroy Evidence on a preset board with standard deployment. Round 2: Flip for shared objective on a preset board flipping for deployment. Round 3: Flip for objective on a preset board with a random event, and flip for deployment. The highest finisher who currently doesn't own a starter army will get their choice of a starter box, the associated totem and fate deck, and a rules manual! Not bad prize support for a free tournament. There will also be optional prize support for painting contest or for tournament placings.
