Austringer vs Silurid and LOS

So the Austringer's Raptor "...ignores cover and LoS" and the Silurid's silent ability means models can not "ignore cover". In the PullmyFinger post for the Silurid it specifically says that the Austringers have to have LoS to attack them.

Is this correct? As I would have thought cover and LoS were two seperately things?

I think this is right. Also if I remember correctly Austringers have a positive flip on strikes vs Silurids, so although they might have a negative due to cover that they can't ignore, it is still a straight flip nonetheless.

PMF is wrong here: Austringers can shoot Silurids without LoS, but won't ignore cover due to the Silurid's Silent ability. The bird-man's cancels out the provided by any cover though.
