Objects and constructs

Adanedhel

Question

Relatively simple question, more fluff than rulesbased, since the rules are crystal clear on this but:

Why aren't objects construct by default? I mean everything which even looks like an object is a construct to all intents and purpose (though not ruleswise) so far as FAIA; and I have trouble to imagine something that could be called an object without being called a construct? It just seems weird, and I wonder why, or is it just done out of balancing purposes? I mean for example the Effigies and the Pigapult are wooden 'constructs', one animated by magic, the other a siege engine.
