Hallowed1
I know spirits can pass over impassible and stop on it, as well as severe terrain without penalty. Are spirits immune to disengaging strikes unless started in melee as if they had float? if so why don't all spirits just have float?
0 Kadeton
I'd say you answered your own question pretty effectively, there! Spirits are not inherently immune to disengaging strikes from the models they move past. Therefore, the rules for Spirit are different from the rules for Float, so not all Spirits have Float. 0 Ratty
Also float allows you to climb vertically for no cost, spirit still need to climb normally if they want to get on a roof or ledge. Spirits can walk through walls to get into a building, models with float still need to find a doorway.
