Huang Da Wei
My Kirai crew is on the painting table, I have yet to buy all the models but thought that I would do my own blog and stage by stage to show you all. The bases are made from balsa wood decking, I wanted to get away from the bamboo style as that has been done to death. Thanks to your previous comments on the forum I will be adding 2 more seishin,am Ikyryo and 2 shikome (night terrors are in with my ressers)
krax
cool idea with balsa. Its very easy to ge a nice effect witch balsa wood and some liberal use of inks. If anything i would try to use more uneven boards, so it looks more like a real wooden floor.
Huang Da Wei
I am just experimenting with washes at the moment, seems gw ogre flesh wash brings out the grain of the wood, makes it look better

karavak
I like the spirit Kirai.. That's a pretty good idea I might have to steal for my list. Or maybe save it for when Alt Kirai comes out!

Huang Da Wei
Seishin are next to do, I need another 2 at a later date, question is how much painting time do you give to a 2ss item that will die quickly each turn....
