Hallowed1
Why are the puppet wars decks more expensive than regular Malifaux decks?
Ratty
They are plastic coated and much more durable.
Undisclosed
+1 No damage on my Puppet Wars decks despite heavy use, normal Malifaux deck is starting to look a bit tatty.
Hallowed1
ok, thanks. I will have to pick one up then cause my malifaux deck is already getting destroyed
diehard
Has anyone ever brought up the idea of plastic coating the regular faction decks? If not, then I guess it's brought up now. I have three decks now (purple, red and gold) but I'd still pick up new ones if they were plastic coated, and wouldn't have a problem with them costing a little more for that upgrade. Just sayin. I have the puppet ones, a red & Purple as well as the Bellingham Warhamsters custom deck and regardless they all go in plastic card sleeves. Makes shuffling so much easier
Bohemian
The puppet decks are more durable, but everything goes into card protectors. It still protects better than nothing. Think of all of the playing cards that you have gone through over the years. The protectors (I use the heavier ones) are worth the price over the long run.
