Leviticus avatar question

Don't have the book next to me so don't know the ability name but it's his first one. Was playing a game using his avatar and we were unsure how to resolve this question. It states that whenever a friendly rider kills a enemy model in melee he gets a healing flip. So does he count himself for this as he's a rider or do you not count yourself as a friendly model.

Second part of that is if he does get it, what's the order of stuff happening? He was attacking kaeris so her flaming armor caused him 1wd which was his last but he did kill kaeris with the attack

He should be able to benefit from Destructive Infusing since he is a rider model and of course is friendly to himself.

The order should be Leveticus hits Kaeris and suffers 1 Wd because of Flaming Armor (which goes off on the hit), Levitcus suffers 1 Wd but still flips for damage (because there is an effect which can heal 1 Wd (rules manual page 44), Kaeris is killed by the damage, Leveticus performs the healing flip (and as long as it is not the black Joker) remains alive.

Keep in mind this should only work if the model has a method of healing or preventing Wd's upon damaging/killing the struck model; otherwise it should die without flipping for damage because it is removed from play as soon as it suffers it's last Wd (and doesn't have a method of healing or preventing the last Wd or an ability that allows it to persist, i.e. Slow to Die)
