I've just played my first Malifaux game and stumbled upon a problem.
A blast has a height of 3 - but how far DOWN can it reach? Is it 3 inches as well? What part of an enemy model should it reach to hit - any or base?
We had a situation when Papa Loco hit an Ice Gamin which sat on the roof of a heigth 4 building and damage caused 2 blast markers. There were several other Rasputina models in the shadow of the same building below (so 4 inches 'lower' than Papa Loco's target). Will these models be damaged by a blast? If a blast goes 3 inches down, then it won't reach these models bases but will reach their torso, sort of. :-)
As a connected question - are auras and pulses infinitely deep as well as infinitely high? Or do they go strictly up?
Fun as it may sound, it is an issue for our gaming group - we managed to get hold of 2 Sewers Terraclips so will have lots of underground and ladder skirmishes.
Upd: Just found a very similar unanswered question but concerning blasts placed 'on empty air'
