Insignificant and objectives

Asphyxxious

Question

So the insignificant characteristic means that model can't score objectives.. Does it also mean that you can't name your opponents insignificant models for objectives? For example kidnap and slaughter? Do those not work?

Also on that note what about against Hamelin? Against an all insignificant list you can't score slaughter points, assassinate points, etc? I suppose if that's true Hamelin can't use bodyguard ever?

This is what I have been told but some if it seems a bit odd. Thanks in advance

Not really for what I was trying to ask though. I was asking about objectives where you had to mention specific models before the game starts, like kidnap or assassinate or something. His models lost insignificant while he is in play. When you choose the models he isn't actually in play, so they are still insignificant.

You are asking whether Insignificant models can be the target/objective of certain Strategies and Schemes. The answer is "Yes, unless the Strategy or Scheme states 'nominate a non-Insignificant enemy model . . .'." Being Insignificant typically only prevents the model from achieving Strategies and Schemes, not being the objective of one.
