Fading Memory
What happens if you charge Marcus with a friendly beast, then switch with that beast using Defend Me, does the beast then attack itself? Does the attack fail? Is this even possible?
0 poulpox
I would like to know too; I would think the action fizzles due to a model ending up targeting itself, which is not allowed, but would love a definite ruling on this (I guess you could imagine some sort of lightening move from Marcus which leaves the charging beast with its own claws in its belly...) 0 Fading Memory
My friend and I were talking and believe that the attack would fizzle. Defend me says "The Beast is now the target of the attack." Because it says target, the beast would have to target itself and targeting yourself with an attack is not possible. 0 poulpox
Yes I agree with that
0 mkcontra
Similarly, what if Marcus uses DEFEND ME when charged by a Shikome? Does her attack then fail as she's not targeting her prey?
0 poulpox
I don't think she is allowed to target a model except her prey even when charging
