dsmiles
Probably the only one for today. My Hollow Waif finally found a home: Alright, WTF, Photobucket? Again? Seriously? EDIT: Any suggestions for a color scheme for my Friekorps? They're up next. (I was thinking dark blue.) diehard
Nice job on A&D, I didn't realize there were so many pieces to the set. And very good work on the Waif, nice color choice and a very creepy but not ugly look with the makeup. Thanks for sharing.
dsmiles
Nice job on A&D, I didn't realize there were so many pieces to the set. Thanks. Neither did I. I thought I would have to buy 2 to get a separate Ashen Core and Dust Storm. And very good work on the Waif, nice color choice and a very creepy but not ugly look with the makeup. Thanks for sharing. Thanks, I was working for a Goth Girl look on her. I'm not sure where I'm going to go with the second one.

Thechosenone
The waif does look really good. The face work on her is stellar
dsmiles
Thanks! I use a special technique I like to call: A 30/0 brush and a lot of patience. EDIT: Well, I decided on a "dark urban camo" paint scheme for Mr. Mustache and his Merry Men. Edited October 31, 2011 by dsmiles

dsmiles
Well, I painted up my first Freikorpsmann, but I can't seem to get enough light on him to get a decent picture. I really want to get him up here for a critique on the color scheme before I move on to the rest of the Freikorps. He's very dark, and a white background isn't working out, but I'd think he would blend in too much with a dark background. Any suggestions? dsmiles
How're these? (The color scheme is up for critique, but it's still a WIP as far as shading and highlighting go.)

dsmiles
Note to self: On my next silent one, the arm goes on AFTER I paint. :cussing:
dsmiles
Modelling question: I just picked up Molly's box and a Necrotic Machine. Can someone give me a down'n'dirty tutorial on sculpting a bow (like a ribbon, not a bow and arrows) out of greenstuff?

dsmiles
I don't seem to be sparking much interest anymore. Doesn't matter, there's more where those came from: Rogue Necromancy: Molly Squidpiddge:
Regnak
Nice work Sir! Liking them alot. Very nice choice of bases also. Compliments them perfectly.. And does Miss Demeanor remind anyone else of that Futurama "Death by Snoo Snoo" episode?
dsmiles
Thanks!
diehard
More nice looking additions to your forces. The only thing I might suggest that could use a slight touch up is Miss demeanor's one eye, it draws the attention from an otherwise very nice paint job. dsmiles
Yeah, about that...I already fixed it. I just didn't bother to take new pics afterward. (It was the pic that tipped me off to the glaring mistake.)
Saint Norton
I like the effect on the female gunsmith, she looks straight out of Tron!

Lordgimpet
nice work as always, those gunsmiths are just begging me to get off my ass and grab the Kaeris box
dsmiles
Two more: Weathering Powders: I used Secret Weapon's 'Brown Rust' on the steel bits, and Vallejo's Chrome Oxide on the copper bits. Then I wet it to age it some. Necrotic Machine: (I just couldn't get good lighting on this guy's head.) Weathering Powders: I used Doc O'Brien's 'Rusty Red' on the knife, then wet it to age it. I used Doc O'Brien's 'Muddy Red' on the edge of her dress. Some of it I wet a little to give it a fresher, more muddy look. Crooligan (Female): (I just realized that I forgot to paint the inside of her mouth.)
