My guess is that Wyrd tends to release new products to distributors at the end of the release month so the merchants might be listing the date they will have them available to the public. My LGS is a good example. The Young LaCroix were shown as an August release but it didn't hit my store till the 2nd of September. My LGS's distributors got them at the end of August though.
