shandog50
Okay I'm still new to the game, so I'm trying to get a better understanding of the rules. I used Pandora's Pacify ability on an opposing master. My oponent then activates his totem and elects to companion in his master to go around my Pacify. Is this a legal play? goblyn13
Nope, Companion allows for you to simultaneous activate however pacify overrides this because Pacify states that as long as there are models that are NOT pacified that haven't activated, then this model can not activate. So while the totem has companion, Companion (a general rule) doesn't override Pacify (a specific Rule).
Fading Memory
No that wouldn't work. Companion allows you to activate models simultaneously, but they still have to follow activation restrictions (paralyzed, slow, terrifying). It doesn't allow you to bypass rules. So pacify would take presidence. However, if they were his last two models to activate, he could declare Companion and have the totem go first. As long as the master was the last model activated, it could still be affected by Companion. At least I think, I could be wrong.
