Changing a thread title

Is there any way to do it?

Have tried changing it in the advanced editor mode but the title just seems to be for the first post in the thread.

I suspect it is deliberate that a thread title cannot be changed once started. Otherwise you could find yourself writing in a thread whose title had been changed dramatically and the meaning of your reply could change completely.

That is true, I hadn't considered that at all.

Plus you'd get the jokers changing the thread title to something like "Post in this thread if you are a ChuckleHead"

That's one of the best things about being able to change thread titles. It boosts your view count dramatically.
