nny
Hi all, I just started painting my Hoffman crew for an upcoming tournament. Yesterday I finished the first model of the 60 stones that I have to paint. I present to you the Guild Advanced Flying Flashlight, aka The Watcher: I've tried to find a different paintscheme for this crew and I quite like it. Tips and comments are allways welcome. The rest of the crew will get posted here as I finish painting them. Cheers,

nny
I managed to find so time this week so I was able to paint some more models for this crew. The pictures didn't came out as good as I hoped, but taking them with a cellphone isn't that easy. Comments are still welcome, and I hope you like what I've made from these mini's. Here are the newest members of Hoffmans crew of Doom! The mechanical attendant A random witchling stalker Ryle Last but not least, Rudy the Birdthrower
nny
Since the weather was real crappy here this week I've painted some more. I still have one week to finish this crew and only need to finish one model atm. That'll be 60 stones of Hoffman. But now the models: A second flashlight Hoffman's Taxi & Butler, the peacekeeper A Guardian Nino who switched from crew And last but not least, the Hoff himself Tips & comments are still welcome ^^
aberrios75
Great work, I have yet to put together my Hoffman box, this has motivated me to do so.
bucket_boy101
I'm going to pain my Hoffman stuff, but after Lady J. Out of interst, did you glue your 'Keeper together, and if so have you had any issues with limb breakage? I'm probably going to solder mine. Out of interst, did you glue your 'Keeper together, and if so have you had any issues with limb breakage? I'm probably going to solder mine. The model is glued together, but the arms are pinned. At first I didn't pin them and then they broke off quite easy.
bucket_boy101
How about the legs? Looking at them, i don't know how I'm going to get them to stay level while I glue the other on. Therefore, soldering.
Xander
What's your painting recipe for the bluish metal?
nny
What's your painting recipe for the bluish metal? First I basecoat the metal parts with P3 Greatcoat grey (a slightly darkened codex grey will work also I think. Next I give it a soft drybrush of shadow grey and wash it with Asurmen Blue. Then I drybrush with fortress grey and then a drybrush of Ice blue, then wash again with Asermen blue. Hope that this helps
Shank Seamus!
Lovely color scheme!
Halflingspy
Great definition on the models, I'm impressed with Ryle and the guild austringer, as that's what I'm working on myself.
daemonkin
Very nice work. Crisp highlights and a good uniform greyish metal colour helps tie it all together. D.
