Guardian's Protect and Leviticus

Can a Guardian cast Protect on Leveticus and then suffer the Wds that Leveticus suffers for spells like Desolation or Necrotic Unmaking? Granted, it is probably going to cost you a Guardian a little earlier in most games, but the wording of the "suffers # Wds" makes me think this is kosher.

I don't see why not. Interestingly, it might be an option vs Leveticus. Protect has no Rst, so your Guardian could cast it on an enemy Leveticus and stop him killing himself.

LOL that's awesome. I'd never thought of it that way. Unless the wording for Protect specifies 'friendly' model or something like that. Will have to check it tonight.

But I would tend to agree that it should work to absorb some of those Wds from Levi's spells.
