Resist and Defense

Bread

Question

I couldn't find an answer to this, sorry if it has already been clarified.

Is a resist duel that uses the defense stat considered a defense duel? The specific situation I am thinking of is Cassandra using Blonde Act, then Breathing Fire on a debuffed model. Is there still a negative twist to the resist flip, since Breathe Fire has a def resist, or does it only apply to regular strikes?

OK

A Defense flip is the flip a Defender makes to a strike.

A Df Flip is a flip a model makes using it's Df stat.

A Resist Flip is the flip that a model makes when it's the Defender to a spell.

So if you were defending against a spell with Df stat. You would be the Defender, it would be a Df Flip and a Resist Flip, but not a Defense Flip.
