pretaboire
Managed to get the painting finished and the ruins built . I have also started experimenting with desert foliage and would appreciate peoples opinions I am going for a Sonoran / Mojave desert feel http://pretaboire.blogspot.com/ Edited May 1, 2011 by pretaboire

CrimsonWraith
The white wall mission look is awesome. It might be the pictures, but the ground looks a little to white. Adding a little yellow might give it a more deserty feel. How did you texture the flats? I saw how you did the roads, but did you just carve the foam, or did you use some crazy tools to get the effect? pretaboire
Thanks chaps The flats were carved and sanded then had a layer of patching plaster stippled all over then the most noticeable steps were filled with ready mix filler I also used a textured paint which added another element .
