Mister Monkey
Yeah.... seemed to spend more time cleaning it then painting..... then there was the point where it started sounding funny.

Mister Monkey
I hope so, how go your adventures in airbrushing?
edonil
Um. Not the greatest, although from what I hear that might be because I was doing so much of metallics. Even with the proper paints, metallics aren't friends with airbrushes at times, lol. I've got the Robotech stuff primed, but probably won't get to it till the weekend. Gonna start with a battlepod and see what I can do with the airbrush.

Dustcrusher
I've wanted to get an inexpensive airbrush just for fume-free priming. I have heard the Vallejo primer works in airbrushes quite nicely. While I'm totally cool with using fantasy proxies for Saga, a lot of people (including, sadly, my girlfriend) are locked into the "must have official everything and nothing else" mentality. Also, I am not sure what faction would work with Undead or Ogres. I suppose it depends on what specifically I want to field- Ogres could sub for mounted units, and Undead could be slow, heavily-armored troops, or ones known for being hard to break. I just think that reskinning it (maybe with an additional mini-board for magicians and rules that allow for square or round bases and small variances in base size) would open up an additional market, kinda like how 28mm historical armies can be used in Kings of War with minimal effort. I think I want to get my girlfriend some sushi-themed gifts for her birthday, like these: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=3504&category=10137 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E68MUPK//ref=cm_sw_su_dp?tag=relprods-20 and especially a set of these: https://otakumode.com/shop/53cdb8eef9dc586052000ee4

edonil
Aye, I know what you mean about restrictive players, Dust. I know a whole bunch who get ticked off at anything 'non official'... even includes paint schemes for pity's sake!
