They are just easier to work with than resin. Get some of the Wild West Exodus ones if you don't believe me After working with the WWX resin (Walks Looking, the Sky Spirit, and two of the KS Ladies of the West all have broken bits waiting to be fixed, and they are too small to pin), I'm convinced that restic, difficult-to-remove mold lines and all, is still better for smaller parts than resin.
