edonil
Alright, I just got as much paint off Monique as I can...if this doesn't work after priming, I'm buying a new one... >.> ---------- Post added at 02:10 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:08 AM ---------- Eh, I'll grant you that... Anyway, Magnus is for the Seventh Sea Campaign. I'm gonna use him for my character. The game doesn't really have rules for minis, but there's going to be 7-8 players...the DM wants to have miniatures just to keep things sane in combat. Mister Monkey
Can always use that Monique as a practice on before you get another one Minis are always easier to keep a RPG flowing I always find....
edonil
If I can't get her to work, she's turning into a stone statue, honestly. I'm not about to throw out a $20 model. ---------- Post added at 02:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:21 AM ---------- I'm torn on the minis thing. I can see the advantage with certain systems, but there's something to be said for old fashioned pen and paper.

edonil
Me too, lol. I need a base or something to put her down on, though...right now, she's loose and not connected to anything. I wonder if I have a spare 60mm piece... >.>
Mister Monkey
Good luck in looking for a base.... In regards to minis in a RPG I am not a fan of grids and movement squares but I do like them just as markers for general "this is where you are" while playing....
edonil
Yeah, movement squares do tend to make things feel a little too much like a board game...
Mister Monkey
Yeah one of the reasons I was not fond of D&D 4th....

A three piece model does make life simpler... ---------- Post added at 03:01 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:58 AM ---------- Man, this has me thinking about getting an Inquisitor scale Eversor again... >.>
Mister Monkey
I have the inquisitor Death cult assassins around somewhere, they were some nice models .... rubbish game, but nice models.
edonil
Never got to try that game. Part of me wants to get the Space Marine if i ever continue on with a Dark Heresy campaign like my group was discussing...have a full blown Techmarine piece towering over the rest of the party. Mister Monkey
He he awesome, I used him as a daemon prince in my chaos army a long time ago.... the game was broken when a friend of ours realised that if his space marine character flicked the bullets at people rather then shooting them, he would do more damage.... sigh. edonil
...O.o Yeah, that's problematic...

edonil
The Space Marine version was fun. FFG makes good games, that's for sure.

Mister Monkey
Excellent, she come up ok?
edonil
I didn't like the Chaos one, honestly. Very inconsistent on the weaponry and everything. That's my only complaint with what they've done with all the different systems, they don't cross over very well. A bolter is a bolter... but the Space Marine ones are much more powerful than the Chaos ones, in spite of being the same thing! ---------- Post added at 03:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:45 AM ---------- Not sure at the moment, she's still drying. I hope she does come out okay!
