edonil
Oh dear. I just saw the new legion of everblight gargantuan, archangel. I want it! What is it with you and large models? (shakes head) That's a good amount of stuff to do, Monkey. How long you got to paint those Rangers?
Mister Monkey
So it can be fighting a Galleon rising out of the water? ---------- Post added at 06:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:40 PM ---------- Tournament is in June, the best part about 15mm is I really dont fuss over it so I gat it done fast, base colour one highlight kind of thing. edonil
Oh dammit all to hell, now he's got me thinking in terms of dioramas... now I want to get an old metal Warpwolf, and a Carnivean to face off, with the wolf positioned to be guarding a body on the ground... >.<
Mako
I like large models, there's tons of freedom to go mad with paint! Hopefully stopping just short of chopping an ear off. Heh. Plus it's a whacking great dragon. And I like dragons. That the last of the FoW stuff once the rangers are done monkey?
edonil
You'll love the next set of drawings from Chris, then. She's working on Rasha and Vindicti (Zygmunt's dragon).
Mako
Heh, dioramas and duels are awesome. Every piece should tell a story, I wish I could manage it with the stuff I do! And in all honesty, I want to do something so huge and crazy that most people do a double take. ---------- Post added at 06:47 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:47 AM ---------- Yay dragons! Lol. Mister Monkey
Nah, still got my Maoris and some bits for my Germans to do, Mako. But we will see how much I enjoy this tournament before we figure out where they sit on the To Do list *grin* Ooo Do the diorama Ed.
Mako
Good plan that, monkey. Always worth seeing how much fun you have first I reckon!
edonil
I'm setting that idea aside for a diorama, but my next 'for fun only ever' model to paint is either that damn Crusader or Monique...
Mister Monkey
Damn you Mako, had to go look.... that is one impressive Dragon.
edonil
With a heart stopping pricetag... although, I'll admit, I like it a lot better than what Circle got.
Mako
It is, isn't it *grin* huuuuuuge thing, and just the right level of detail I reckon. Hmmm, I say crusader. I want to see that one done! Lol
edonil
Crusader it is! Although depending on how the airbrush turn out, her colors may change...painting her as the Green Knight is starting to lose its appeal, lol. I may someday do a mono-color scheme, I'm not sure I could stand it being green...
Mako
The circle gargantuan is the one shine really wants lol. ---------- Post added at 07:00 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:59 AM ---------- Heh, can always go for a two colour thing, like orange and brown (fall colours rather than bright). edonil
That might be an interesting way to do it. Honestly, I think I'm back to wanting to paint up Monique in a mono-purple scheme.... The circle one isn't bad. I just always loved the critters more than the golems.
Mako
Ooh, mono purple would be cool.
Mister Monkey
Mono purple sounds harder then green....
Mako
Funniest part is, biology works in favour of mono green. Human eye can see more shades of green than any other colour... But if it's not hard, it's not fun, right? *wink*
edonil
Actually, mono-purple isn't that hard. Just depends on how you define 'mono'. I'm going to use a few different mixes of purple, ones that are more blue, others more red, to give variation to it. Plus, I am going to have some accent colors on the armor, there's some baroque work that'll be done in silver.
Mister Monkey
Except those of us who are colourblind in shades of green....
Mako
I say go for it. In fact, I rescind my earlier suggestion to do the crusader! And On that one, I believe I shall attempt a few hour sleep. Later all
Mister Monkey
Night Mako..... Going to do a work in progress thing with it Ed?
