edonil
Rules they seem interesting. The Posthumans are really all one program switching venue points, which I think is a spiffy concept, personally. And they're very much a hacking faction, which I like because Tohaa seem the opposite direction. Just need to figure out if I'm going to try painting that cream color or not... The Myrmidon Officer finally sold me on them, honestly. She's a wonderful piece, even has a fairly realistic pose.
Mako
Ah, that is a nice one. If it's the one I'm thinking of. I was partial to the cheeky pose of the Nagas sniper girl, and the HMG dakini. Plus I have a Maruts already. I think I'll use cream as an accent on mine, and do a lot of the armour in oily black (scarab carapace style). Give them a dystopian style. edonil
Hm, interesting... I think I want to do something matte, I've got the Tohaa as bright and shiny. Honestly, I really do like that cream, although I think I want to do ice blue as the detail color instead of the pink that they did. Any recommendations on how to do that color? Mako
The ice blue? Probably use a grey-cream mix as a shade for it, and white as a final highlight. That would be my first thought. Nice contrast from the warmer grey shadows to the bright clean mids and highlights. The cream is a tricky one, it's almost like they're using a flesh or leather colour to shade it, with cream and white for mid and highlight. Hard to tell though from the photos
edonil
Hm...definitely something to mess around with. Of course, I need to finish the Tohaa first... >.>

SteamHammer
Very glad it's a Friday although unhappy that there's still no movement on my Wayland order even though everything is now in stock. How're you?
edonil
Not bad. Still waiting to hear something on the order I placed this week...find it odd how long it's taking. Ah well, I know these guys well enough to trust them. In the meantime, have a wicked headache. >.<
SteamHammer
Never good, hope it clears up before it becomes that migraine sick feeling.

SteamHammer
Finish painting Raspy. Go for a haircut. If my roses arrive today then out in the garden planting things. Maybe a game of Malifaux in the afternoon but that's dependent on what friends are up to.
edonil
Roses? Isn't it still winter there?
SteamHammer
Good time to plant while they're still dormant. I think anyway. My gardening knowledge is more the "hey, give it a go and hope it lives" kind.
edonil
Heh, better than mine. I haven't done anything with gardening, ever. Might try it sometime, but I highly doubt that I have the least bit of a green thumb...
SteamHammer
I have a very half-assed view of it. If five years from now the garden looks nicer than just a field of grass then I'll count it as a win.
edonil
Sounds like a doable plan. What've you got growing now?
SteamHammer
All manner of hedges, shrubs and herbs. Things that look after themselves and keep on living. I don't want plants that just live a year and hope to spread their seeds. A couple more months before I need to start planting the veggies in the back garden.
