Mister Monkey
Pretty sure you had that one figured out from the start though Ed *grin*

Mako
Brutally hard work, but at least I've been lucky and been a bit less busy with work than Ed! Mind you, next week work will kick into gear so it's going to get a lot harder to keep up. I'm amazed at the effort it takes to keep something like this going at this speed... edonil
No kidding, lol. I'm still surprised I'm managing to keep writing, honestly. What with everything else going on, I expect Elle to rebel any moment now...el? Lost the rhyme there.
Mister Monkey
Ha Ha, but has it been worth it this far?

edonil
And yeah, it's been a lot of fun for me. I'm sitting at 33k for the novel in total...puts me roughly a third of the way through the book.

edonil
I know! I want to do that someday, would be great! ---------- Post added at 10:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:35 PM ---------- Why do I get the feeling Mako is trying to justify putting a bear into his novel? Mister Monkey
Cause Mako is easily distracted .... there was a Bear special character in flames of war ....
edonil
Well, there was a bear in WWII as part of an artillery company. I think he was a sergeant by the end of the war? He carried the shells.
Mister Monkey
Thats the one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wojtek_%28soldier_bear%29 They made him as a limited edition special character....
Mako
Hey, I'm not easily distracted! Sorry, was busy doing something else there for a minute... Oh. Right. I withdraw my objection. Is it worrying that I think there may be the phrase 'a great bear of a man' in my novel from yesterday? Lol
edonil
....really? (goes to look) ---------- Post added at 10:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:54 PM ---------- Yep, there it is...page 33...

Mister Monkey
Yes Ed we do do Christmas, it is the big holiday of the year pretty much and one of two days where everything must close.... same day as everybody else, my northern relatives could not get over strawberries for Christmas. (though there is also a big mid-year Christmas thing that goes on so the Poms have a Christmas in winter)
