Bksantucci
If I get a negative flip because I have cover, does that mean the attack flip of my opponent can not be cheated?
tajnisvet
Just to be clear, you don't get a negative flip, your opponent's model is getting a negative flip for attack. So if it stays that way, than yes, it can't be cheated. But, if he has a paired weapon, than the positive and negative flip will negate one another, and he will be still able to cheat his attack card. Bear in mind that you get no cover from melee attacks. tajnisvet
Yes, there are other ways as well for model to get positive flip for attacking (ie. spells). I just gave an example with paired weapon.
nilus
Thanks that is what I thought. That makes cover a big deal. Yes it is a very big deal. Its the first thing I remind people of when they complain that Ortega's are too powerful. Edited November 4, 2010 by nilus
Wodschow
Yes it is a very big deal. Its the first thing I remind people of when they complain that Ortega's are too powerful. Cover doesn't really matter to the three most dangerous Ortegas though.. Which is more than half of them, so yeah..
hippieshopper
If you're using a few master's like Nico or Raspy...this is vital info. And sometimes the smallest of things can make a big difference.
