CubertFarnsworth
I love the models from Wyrd, but at times I am not to excited about them. The waldgeist being on of them. I thought this model did represent the waldgeist a bit more, springing from the forest, ready to strike with its claw attack.
AvatarForm
Think I prefer the Wyrd ones over this. This was never GW's finest work either.
The Madman
Think I prefer the Wyrd ones over this. This was never GW's finest work either. I'm with you on this one The Waldy is a TREE Demon not wilderbeast standing in tall grass If your place of play lets you proxy it - cool but, meh i'll stick with WYRDs
Chucklemonkey
I was expecting to see Dryads when I clicked the thread. While I too prefer the Wyrd Waldgeist, I would add that I do like both your paintjob and the demon/treeroot things you have at the back of him. It does make it seem he is emerging from something. This miniature is actually meant to be a beastman in constant flux/mutation... hence the strange cape coming down its back. http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440030a&prodId=prod580014a He has some fluff that suits. Shadowopal
It's a great paintjob. And the basing is tight too. Nice work.
daemonkin
The painting is very good for such a poor model. While I would love my waldgeists to be more like the daemon wolves from 'Lady in the water' the Wyrd ones are suitable and can be painted up quite dark and sinister. D. Daniele
paint job: very good base: very good (sets the mini into a nice stalking ambient - like dashing at its victim from it's hideout) but although i've been playing warhammer for about 14 years... the beastman range sucks big time (my opinion). The Dryad-Champion from the wood elves would fit the nightmarish features of the neverborn much better I think!
