Still got the painting bug so I figured I'd get started on the Body Thieves. Finished up McMourning & the Zombie Chihuahua so far. I'm going to keep with the 'earthy' color choices for this crew as well. I started with a thin layer of foundation red then from there I highlighted it with blood red. I finished by smoothing it out with brown and red washes. I pretty much just played with it until it looked right. I started with a very small area and watered downed paint and built it up from there. I'm getting old and the eyes don't work like they use too:)...looking at them I need to do a few touch ups. I'm not 100% happy with them, and I may go back and rework them (some days the paint brush isn't your friend:)). Overall though I'm happy with the colors and the group so far.
