Plankwalker
"Great Scott" Geckilian! Can you ask Doc if I can borrow his Flux Capacitor so I can finish my time machine and go forward in time to when I have my Dreamer/LCB crew finished? Haha in all seriousness, great conversion work and painting!
KirigakurenoHaku
You are saying "electrical creation". What I see, however, is an giant bob-omb. Impressed? I think I am. Steampunk brassy bits on a bob-omb look amazing!
Geckilian
Cheers for the replies guys! It's great to have such encouragement. Unfortunately due to painting other things lately I've not made too much progress with Malifaux, but I have managed to finish a conversion I quite like. Behold, with trusty umbrella, bowler hat and gas mask, it's Leveticus! I also had to add new hair and a small neckerchief, but it adds point colours at least. As I've had a few orders arrive, I now have a lot to paint - another Arachnid Swarm, 'Joss' when his head arrives, the Steamborg Executioner to touch up, 2 Hollow Waifs, 3 Rotten Belles, Seamus, The Dreamer and Lord Chompy Bits, a 'Desolation Engine', 6 'Steampunk Abomination' Mechanithralls to touch up and a 'Pandora' crew if I get bored with a potential 106 canine remains (the Bag o' Zombie Dogs is a wonderful thing). Melnibonean
Some fantastic work there. No favorites on my part because they all look great.:1:
AvatarForm
Love it! Would like to know your recipe for white on the Cephalix?
Geckilian
Would like to know your recipe for white on the Cephalix? Thank you. The base is a 50/50 of Adeptus Battlegrey and Astronomicon Grey foundation paints, for nice coverage over black. Then about 4 layers with progressively more white, finishing with 2 or so layers of thinned white.
Geckilian
Hmm. Coming up to 2 years since this was updated it seems. I took part in (most) of the Tale of Malifaux painters, so as I'm updating forum threads and so forth here's a relatively comprehensive collection of what I painted in the Tale. Warning, lots of pictures.
